Hello There,
How is it going?
No really, How is “it” going?
How is it going to work?
Why is it going to work.
!!! Oh wait, there is another important takeaway right after the first main heading, so don’t miss out.
Think about it this way:
“I want to get better at _______”.
For this example, let’s say it is archery.
“I want to get better at archery”
I will know if I am getting better at archery if I hit the bullseye 10 times in a 10 minute timeframe.
This is purely an example, feel free to define the key performance metric in a way that is beneficial/more personalized to you.
Look Here For The Main Takeaway!
HOW… can I improve my ability to hit the bullseye 10 times in a 10 minute timeframe?
Do I need to practice more?
Do I need to buy the most expensive equipment?
I have to choose the method that I will use to improve my archery.
For you, you may have 10 different ways to accomplish your mission (or maybe 3). Think about each course of action and determine which is the best “COA” or course of action (I got “COA” from the YouTube channel “Life is a Special Operation”.
Back to the Archery Example
Now that I have chosen the COA I will take to improve my archery, I am going to get a BASELINE.
How am I performing right now?
How many bullseyes am I getting right now?
In my next post I am going to share with you how to create a barplot in RStudio.
This Barplot will help you visually see OBJECTIVELY, your baseline archery performance.
I will definitely teach you how to change things around to fit your situation.
Conclusion
decide what you want to improve
think of how you are going to improve it
get a baseline measurement
Thank you for reading. See you next time :)
