Hello there,
I would like to start series that is all about “self experiments”.
I believe my main inspiration for this has come from Tim Ferriss’ book The 4 hour chef.
He has a couple of different books, such as the 4 hour workweek, and four hour body. I highly recommend you read all of his stuff.
For our purposes, we will discuss the four hour chef, because I believe it is closer to the goals of this publication.
The book is about meta-learning. Learning how to learn. The author, Tim Ferriss does this by showing you different examples (like when he learned Japanese, as well as when he was learning how to cook).
for us, learning **how to cook**, is more important than learning recipes. ¿Why?
Oh, it’s funny you should ask. If you learn how to cook you can make your own recipes. You will have full control in the kitchen. You will be able to do whatever you want and still win.
so back to the experimenting idea. I am wondering if anyone would be interested in a series about learning how to do your own self-experiments. Meaning, maybe you want to learn a language. Maybe you want to improve your sleep quality/quantity.
How can we set goals, and achieve them? How can we strive to succeed? The goal should be to learn from every attempt and improve. That is the point of experiments.
